Wooo, Lord, Amy Schumer is a trip. The third season of comedienne, Amy Schumer’s show, Inside Amy Schumer, is set to debut tomorrow, April 21st. And I am READY. This is the time of the year when I begin to get Seasonal Show Disorder– all my programs are wrapping up….it’s already May sweeps. Ugh, it’s the worst. Television has gotten much better over the summer– USA really puts in work— but summer on the networks used to have me wishing for September. Not so anymore!
Amy Schumer is pretty much the epitome of uber-awkward and deeply inappropriate, which, fortunately, are two of my primary requirements for my “new best friend” candidates. With her season 3 promo, Amy took the opportunity to read my mind and give me exactly what I wanted from her: dope beats, big booties and Method Man– looking all EXTRA sexy.
The nostalgia is strong here; “Milk Milk Lemonade” is a riff on an elementary school playground classic, reminding us all that all of our sexy lady parts have some real-life, hyper practical functions. Pop, lock and drop it with me and tune into Inside Amy Schumer, premiering April 21, 10:30/9:30c.
